At HoneyBear we pride ourselves on being the videographers that photographers love to work with. We’re not cowboys jumping in front of their shots in order to make everything feel like a Michael Bay movie. A wedding shoot just doesn’t need to be that complex. It shouldn’t look staged. It should be fun. We’re storytellers. And in order to tell your story we want it to feel like we’re barely there so you can relax and be genuine. Then we get to the real work. The forgotten side of wedding films. The editing.

We are specialists at taking your vows and speeches and editing them together to build a story that is unique to you. Our founder, James, has a Masters Degree in Screenwriting and has taken his deep knowledge of story and applied it to documentary editing techniques. You won’t see your vows sloppily pasted into our highlight films. We take snippets from all the audio, piece them together to craft a story and work them into the rhythm of the song to create a tone that helps you feel what it was actually like to be there on the day.

So how do you know if we’re right for you? It comes down to this. Do you want the staged or candid feel? Do you want cameras in your face all day or do you want to enjoy the moment? If you want to feel like you’re in a Hollywood production, we’re not for you. If you just want someone to set up a camera on a tripod and capture the day, we’re not for you. But if you want something lovingly handcrafted from the first shot to the final edit, you’ve found your team.
