1. Introduction: What's your story?
I’m a full time Sydney marriage celebrant based in Randwick, and I’ve always been drawn to moments that genuinely matter. After years of working in roles centred around people, communication, and storytelling, I realised that becoming a celebrant allowed me to bring all those strengths together in the most meaningful way. I love creating ceremonies that feel warm, relaxed, and deeply personal — the kind that make couples feel truly seen and celebrated.
2. What's your experience as a marriage celebrant? How many weddings have you done?
I’ve officiated hundreds of weddings across Sydney, regional NSW, and Queensland. Over the years, I’ve worked with couples from all backgrounds, cultures, and relationship styles. I love that diversity. Every ceremony teaches me something new, and I bring that experience into each wedding I create.
3. How far in advance do couples need to secure your services?
Most couples book 6–12 months in advance, especially for peak seasons like September–November and March–May. However, I always encourage couples to reach out — if I’m available, I’m more than happy to help, even on shorter notice.
4. How would you describe your ceremony style?
My style is warm, genuine, and story driven. I focus on creating ceremonies that feel personal rather than theatrical — heartfelt with the right touch of humour when it suits the couple. My goal is always the same: to make you feel relaxed, supported, and completely yourselves on the day.
5. What are your fees for a wedding?
My fees vary depending on the type of ceremony, location, and level of support required. Every package includes all legal paperwork, personalised ceremony design, vow writing guidance, unlimited communication, and a beautifully crafted ceremony script. I’m always happy to send a detailed information pack with fees and inclusions once I understand what a couple is wanting/
6. What do you wear when you officiate a wedding?
I dress in a classic, modern, and unobtrusive style that complements your wedding aesthetic. Typically, this means a tailored suit in neutral tones. My aim is to look polished while ensuring the focus stays on you, not me.
7. How many pre-wedding sessions will the couple need to have with you?
Most couples have one main planning meeting and then stay in touch via email or phone as needed. I also offer a rehearsal or run through if you’d like one. I keep the process simple, supportive, and flexible around your schedule.
8. Will you be able to create a personalised ceremony?
Absolutely — personalised ceremonies are at the heart of what I do. I take the time to learn your story, understand your personalities, and craft a ceremony that feels authentically “you.” I also encourage couples to send me their vows ahead of time so I can format them into personalised vow booklets you can read from and keep as a memento.
9. Are you available to travel if needed?
Yes. While I’m based in Randwick, I regularly travel across Sydney, the South Coast, the Blue Mountains, and regional NSW. I’m also available for destination weddings with prior arrangement. My Celebrant life started in Brisbane so I'm delighted to celebrate wedding in South East Qld.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
Generally, the booking fee is non refundable as it secures your date, but any remaining balance is only payable closer to the wedding (14 days prior to the Ceremony). If unforeseen circumstances arise, I always work with couples compassionately to find the best solution.
