1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hi, I’m Bec — a Celebrant of love, life, and everything in between. As an Authorised Marriage Celebrant, Funeral and Life Celebrant, and Ritual Ceremonialist, I create heartfelt ceremonies that honour your story and spirit.
At Charmed Life Ceremonies, I offer a safe, inclusive space where your journey is celebrated with intention, care, and authenticity. I’m here to walk beside you — and help create something truly meaningful and magical.
2. What's your experience as a marriage celebrant? How many weddings have you done?
I launched Charmed Life Ceremonies in 2018, and by 2021, I was officially registered as a Marriage Celebrant by the Attorney-General — a moment of deep pride and purpose for me. To this date, I have officiated 20+ Wedding ceremonies.
3. How far in advance do couples need to secure your services?
Legally, I would need at least one month to lodge the Notice of Intended Marriage — so that’s the minimum. But in reality, as soon as you’ve locked in your venue, your next step should be booking your celebrant (that’s me!). The most advanced bookings I've received from my couples have been 2 years ahead, the most popular (for me) have been around the Spring/Autumn Equinoxes, Summer/Winter Solstices and Halloween season. My calendar fills quickly, especially during peak wedding season, and I’d hate for you to miss out.
4. How would you describe your ceremony style?
My ceremony style is grounded, warm, and inclusive, with a natural and thoughtful flow. I’m inspired by the beauty of the natural world and often draw on simple, earthy rituals to bring depth and meaning to the moment. Whether you’re after something relaxed and light-hearted, traditional and heartfelt, or a ceremony that weaves in spiritual or symbolic elements, I work closely with you to shape something that feels truly personal. Every ceremony is a reflection of your connection, held in a space where you can feel present, supported, and genuinely celebrated.
5. What are your fees for a wedding?
Your first consultation is free — no pressure, just a relaxed chat to see if we’re the right fit.
To secure your date, you’ll need to complete the Notice of Intended Marriage form and pay a non-refundable booking fee of $250.
I offer three beautiful ceremony packages to suit a range of styles and needs:
• Registry Style – simple and legals only
• Short ‘n’ Sweet – perfect for elopements or micro-weddings
• Charmed Life Ceremony – a fully personalised, enchanting experience
Let’s connect and bring your dream ceremony to life. Book a Call and I’ll provide a customised quote just for you.
6. What do you wear when you officiate a wedding?
Whatever suits your wedding vision — within reason, of course! I’m happy to dress in a way that complements your colour palette and theme, whether that’s ethereal and flowy, classic and formal, or a chic pant suit. My goal is to blend in beautifully with your aesthetic while still bringing a warm, professional presence to your ceremony.
7. How many pre-wedding sessions will the couple need to have with you?
It depends on the package you choose, but I like to connect with my couples at least once or twice before the big day to make sure everything feels just right. I’m also super flexible in between — always happy to chat via email, phone, or messages whenever you need support or have questions.
8. Will you be able to create a personalised ceremony?
Absolutely! Personalised ceremonies are my specialty. I’ll work closely with you to understand your story, style, and vision for the day. Through a detailed couple’s questionnaire and a ceremony checklist, we’ll dive deep into what matters most to you — ensuring every element feels authentic, meaningful, and uniquely you.
9. Are you available to travel if needed?
Yes, I’m more than happy to travel! Travel within 100km is included in certain packages. For rural or interstate weddings, I’m still absolutely available — additional travel and accommodation costs would simply be added to your quote. I’ll always be upfront and transparent about any extra costs, and I hope that’s okay!
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
Yes, I do have a cancellation and refund policy in place. I’ll provide all the details in our service agreement, which you’ll receive during our pre-booking discussions. That way, everything is clear and transparent before you commit.
