1. Introduction: What's your story?

I’m Krista, fan of fun times, great friends, good laughs, and love.

I’ve been marrying couples in Brisbane and beyond and have done for over 14 years.

I offer you more than ‘just’ a wedding ceremony. I’m a party starter, atmosphere creator, storyteller, and nerve allayer whilst recognising the significance of the moment. I offer up all the vibes to get the happy tears flowing and bellies sore from laughing.

My past career was as a high school drama teacher. After having my two children, I decided to explore other career options that better suited my family, and discovered celebrancy. I couldn't leave my teaching background altogether and had the privilege of becoming a Celebrant Trainer, mentoring Celebrants from all over Australia for their OPD.

2. What's your experience as a marriage celebrant? How many weddings have you done?

I've been a Celebrant since 2010 and have now conducted over 950 ceremonies. Whether you want something heartfelt, fun, romantic, or a mix of everything, I’m here to craft a ceremony that feels so you.

3. How far in advance do couples need to secure your services?

Most couples book me a year in advance for Friday and Saturday weddings. For weekday weddings, it is usually 8 months out.

4. How would you describe your ceremony style?

My signature style is all about creating and delivering a ceremony that is relaxed, enjoyable, fun, and all about you both! Your guests will think I’ve known you for years, and your friends will be saying, “That was the best ceremony I’ve ever been to!”

With a down-to-earth approach, a sprinkle of humour, and plenty of guidance along the way, I’ll make sure the process is smooth, stress-free, and actually enjoyable. From legal paperwork to heartfelt vows, I’ve got you covered.

5. What are your fees for a wedding?

I have three packages ranging from $550 to $1495.

6. What do you wear when you officiate a wedding?

I work with your style and colour scheme when choosing my outfit.

7. How many pre-wedding sessions will the couple need to have with you?

We typically meet 1-3 times before the wedding. The first meeting is usually a meet-and-greet online. Once you decide to book me as your Celebrant, we meet to complete the first of the legal paperwork and discuss your ceremony. This can happen either in person or online. A rehearsal or walk-through would be the final time we meet before your ceremony; however, not all couples choose this option.

8. Will you be able to create a personalised ceremony?

I believe that your ceremony should feel just right - a true reflection of your story, your vibe, and the love you share. No yawn-worthy ceremonies here! Whether you want something heartfelt, fun, romantic, or a mix of everything, I’m here to craft a ceremony that feels so you.

9. Are you available to travel if needed?

Yep, definitely open to travel. It's also my favourite pastime.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

Where you wish to cancel, the following applies:

Prior to six (6) months, the Booking Fee is forfeited

Less than six (6) months and before six (6) weeks - Booking Fee is forfeited

Less than six (6) weeks - 100% of total Package Price is forfeited/due
