I’m a marriage celebrant who will create a fun and friendly wedding ceremony that reflects you both, is authentic, relaxed and enjoyable.

Before becoming a full time celebrant I worked in media most of my life, ten years keeping Mix 94.5 #1 in Perth (1999-2009) and nine years as the CEO of Channel 7’s Telethon (2009-2017), so I’m very familiar with speaking in public.

My style is relaxed and unassuming. So if you’re after a light hearted ceremony that is personable and reflective of your lifestyle – I’m the guy.

FAQs

How much does it cost?

There is no set figure. It all depends on what you want for the day. If you just want a quick 5 minute “legals only” ceremony then it starts at $450. If you want all the bells and whistles of my signature ceremony, then it’s more likely to cost nearer to $1,250. the best thing to do is to have a chat over coffee or the phone so that you see if we’re the right fit, and then once I know exactly what you want for your big day, I can come up with a quote.

Will the ceremony be personalised?

Yes, if you want it to be. The more you tell me about yourselves and the life you live together, then the more I can personalise the ceremony on the day. I have a whole bunch of questions I ask you over coffee to help me get to know you and then I can go away and write an authentic, personalised ceremony that you and your guests will love.

Do I do rehearsals?

I will do a rehearsal in the days leading up to the wedding ceremony if you want to, but only if you want to. We don’t have to do a rehearsal. The main reason for doing a rehearsal is to time the wedding party walking in at the start of the ceremony so that it runs smoothly.

Do I have my own sound equipment and microphone?

Yes I do. It only takes a few minutes to set up once I arrive on the day, so that everyone will hear your ceremony. You can also plug your music into my speaker.
