Jacqueline from Jacqueline Drew Cakes, has a passion for creating beautiful luxury iced cakes with handcrafted sugar flowers being centric to all her custom designs. She has worked years perfecting her artistry, also having completed the intensive floral sugar artistry course at the famed Peggy Porschen Academy in London.

A delectable cake menu offering will ensure your wedding cake will be a masterpiece inside and out. With over 15 flavours to choose from, cakes on the menu are paired with premium Belgium chocolate ganache, quality fruit preserves, nut pralines, syrups and silky-smooth Swiss meringue buttercreams!

FAQs

How can I taste your cakes?

We release sample boxes about three times a year. Email us about the next release date.

Sample Boxes are available for pickup from our Manly Brisbane studio. $50 for a box containing 6 of our most popular flavours. Payment must be made at least 3 business days in advance of pickup.

Samples can be made available at your design consultation, however, are an opt-in service. Please request when booking your design consultation ($50 payable 3 business days in advance).

Do you use fresh or fake flowers and decorate in buttercream?

No. Jacqueline Drew Cakes is all about the artistry of handmade sugar flowers with floral sugar craft centric to all of our custom luxury designs. All our cakes are finished with a thin layer of fondant (3-4mm).

As we only go where our passion takes us, we do not work with fresh or fake flowers nor decorate with buttercream.

Do you deliver?

Yes! We deliver all over south-east Queensland and beyond. When you contact us tell us where your reception is so we can include delivery/set-up cost in your quote.

Do I need an in-person design consultation?

We think consultations are a great way to meet each other and for you to have all your questions answers. You can also view some of our portfolio cakes and floral sugar work!

Consultations are by APPOINTMENT ONLY and are held at our private studio in Manly, Brisbane (Brisbane City Council registered kitchen). Send us an email to arrange a time (Saturdays or Tuesdays).

If you are sure you know what you are after or cannot make it to Manly, design consultations can be achieved via email and phone no problem!

When should I book my wedding cake? Do I need to supply a desposit?

The optimal booking lead time is 6 - 9 months. As all our work is labour intensive and highly designed, we only take on one or two luxury cakes a week. For this reason, our availability can be limited especially in peak wedding months.

A 30% non-refundable deposit will secure your date and design in our calendar.
