Hi, I’m Alison Pickel and I’m an authorised marriage celebrant + wedding MC. But not the boring uptight kind. Rather, I’m a straight-talking, food-obsessed, inclusivity-lovin’ gal who believes that deciding to stick with your chosen person for life is worthy of celebration.

I specialise in fun, relaxed ceremonies that aim to take away some of the stress of wedding planning. I can’t tell you what flowers to pick, or solve table placement dilemma of where to place Aunty Gladys when she’s not talking to cousin Michael, but you can be certain that when it comes to the ceremony, you’ll know, “Alison’s got this!”

From our first hello until the final glass of champas is drunk, I’m the wedding cheerleader in your corner (minus the pom-poms and the ra-ra skirt).

I live in Gadigal Country (aka Marrickville, NSW), but I regularly hitch amazing couples at weddings in Sydney, the Southern Highlands, Wollongong, South Coast, Blue Mountains and Central Coast. Saying “I do” further away? I love to travel so drop me a line (hello? Uluru, you say?).

So whether you prefer traditional (but not stuffy), modern or something totally outside-the-square, we’ll co-create a celebration that reflects the special brand of awesome that is unique to the two of you.
