1. Introduction: What's your story?
I started photographing weddings at the very start of 2020—just as the world was getting interesting! Since then, I’ve had the honor of capturing over 300 love stories, each one beautifully unique. It’s been an unforgettable journey witnessing love in all its forms and capturing those moments so couples can relive the magic forever.
2. How long have you been shooting weddings and how many weddings have you photographed?
I officially launched my wedding photography business at the beginning of 2020. Starting just before the world took a wild turn was certainly an experience, but it’s made every celebration feel even more meaningful.
3. How would you describe your photography style?
My photography style is best described as editorial, timeless, and romantic. I aim to capture moments that are both beautifully real and artfully composed, giving couples images that feel like they’re straight out of a magazine but still deeply personal. It’s all about creating photographs that don’t just capture how your day looked, but how it felt, so you can look back and be transported right back to those moments.
4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?
I always recommend couples book their wedding photographer as soon as they’ve locked in their date and venue—ideally 12-18 months in advance, especially for the popular wedding seasons! This way, you’re more likely to secure your dream photographer and have plenty of time to plan all the details. That said, if your wedding is sooner, reach out anyway! Sometimes last-minute magic can happen.
5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
I offer a range of wedding packages to suit every couple's unique vision and needs, from intimate elopements to full-day celebrations! My packages generally cover 6 or 8 hours, depending on how much of the day you’d like documented - from getting ready through to the big exit. My most popular package is the 8-hour coverage, which perfectly captures the heart of the day, including all the key moments and a bit of the afterparty vibe. Each package also includes high-resolution images and a private online gallery. For couples wanting something tailored, I’m more than happy to create a custom package as well!
6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?
Yes, I’ll absolutely be the one capturing your big day! From the initial consultation to the final edits, I’m fully hands-on and committed to bringing your vision to life. On the wedding day, I often work solo, but for larger weddings or when couples want additional angles, I have a fantastic network of skilled second photographers I can bring along. I’m all about making sure every important moment is covered, so you can enjoy a seamless, stress-free experience.
7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
For weddings in Melbourne and the surrounding area, there’s no travel fee. For weddings outside Melbourne or destination weddings, I do charge a travel fee, which covers flights, accommodation, and transport to ensure I’m there and ready to capture every moment. Every couple and location is unique, so I’m always happy to discuss the details and work with you to make it as smooth as possible!
8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?
My packages include beautifully edited digital images with a personal print release, so you have the freedom to print and share your photos as you like! For couples who want something extra special, I offer custom-designed albums and fine art prints as add-ons. These are crafted to stand the test of time and make for stunning heirlooms that you’ll love looking back on for years to come. I’m here to help you find the perfect way to bring your memories to life!
9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive their wedding photos? How will they be delivered?
Couples can expect to receive their full gallery of beautifully edited wedding photos within 6-8 weeks after the big day. I put a lot of care into making sure each image tells your unique story. The images will be delivered via a private, online gallery, where you can view, download, and share your photos with friends and family. If you’d like prints or albums, we can chat about those after you’ve had a chance to enjoy your gallery!
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
I understand that life can sometimes throw curveballs, so I try to be as flexible as possible. For cancellations, the booking fee is non-refundable, as I’ll have turned down other bookings. If there’s a need to reschedule, I’m happy to discuss options and find a new date that works for both of us and the booking fee will transfer to the new date. Read more details here.
